Elden Ring- Ruinous Revenant | Helphen's Steeple Build (NG+)

Описание к видео Elden Ring- Ruinous Revenant | Helphen's Steeple Build (NG+)

Background: The Helphen's Steeple is an unsung hero. Often viewed as the inferior Intelligence Greatsword compared to the Dark Moon Greatsword and Death's Poker, the time has come to put respect on its name. And with this build, I'm not holding back. The priority is power. Vigor is no longer the priority. Welcome to Powertrip.

For this build: This build is a Strength/Intelligence hybrid build centered around the Helphen's Steeple as the star. In terms of raw attack power, it outclasses the Dark Moon Greatsword. This is for a few reasons: A) it has better scaling with Strength as well as strong scaling an Intelligence, whereas the DMGS scales mainly with Intelligence alone. B) The weapon skill of the Helphen's Steeple, Ruinous Ghostflame, adds more magic damage than Moonlight Greatsword (110 Magic Damage vs 65 Magic Damage) and adds more Frostbite than the DMGS has. (Helphen's has 80 Frostbite when buffed whereas Dark Moon Greatsword has 70 Frostbite with its native Frostbite and buff combined). The main goal of this build is to overwhelm bosses with high stance damage and Frostbite. The Sorceries I use with this build are not meant to do high damage, rather, they are intended to act as instruments towards this build's main goals. Ranni's Dark Moon applies high Frostbite and a Magic Damage Debuff, while Greatblade Phalanx deals high stance damage for a Sorcery. This leads to a build that is absolutely devastating.

How to make this build have 50 Vigor and still be strong:
Use this stat spread if you want to have 50 Vigor.
Starting Class: Prisoner
Vigor: 50
Mind: 25
Endurance: 30
Strength: 24
Intelligence: 70
The Helphen's Steeple will still have a respectable attack rating of 778 when two-handing (5.4% weaker than my current stat spread of 44 Strength and 68 Intelligence: 822 AR)

How to improve this build (Beyond 150):
So, beyond the obvious increase to Vigor, the Helphen's Steeple will continue to have good scaling till 80 Strength and 80 Intelligence where it would have an AR of 872 when two-handing. This is a 5.8% increase in power. Also, bare in mind, with my current stat spread, the Helphen's Steeple can already reach over 1,200 AR with Magic Scorpion, Ritual Sword and Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear. That number would only be stronger if this weapon is pushed to its limit. Lastly, the build could benefit from a little bit more Mind if you wanted to focus on casting more.
Lastly, I would also suggest pairing it with the Dark Moon Greatsword if you wanted to powerstance or a Cold-infused Greatsword.
