Multi-layered vocal harmonies are ABBA's distinctive feature. The chorus of "Knowing Me, Knowing You" is the perfect example of their massive work in the recording studio, which resulted in gorgeous, solid and sometimes hidden harmonies - i.e. buried in the final mix. After isolating and analyzing ABBA's vocals by ear, I recorded each and every part featured in the chorus, trying to recreate the magic and the power of those vocals when sung at once.
