Spunky and adventurous, Raida (Judy Ann Santos) heads off to Manila for two reasons: to visit her godmother, and to meet with Ariel (Wowie de Guzman), her pen pal. But strange things happen on her way to the big city. In two separate instances, she meets Carlo (Onemig Bondoc), an enigmatic young man whose murder Raida helps to solve, and the suicidal Danny (Red Sternberg) whom she saves from falling off a ravine. After a very eventful trip, Raida finally sets foot on the metropolis, and in no time, she finds Ariel's address. But Ariel is unprepared to meet her, so he asks his cousin (BobbyAndrews) to act as him. But what Ariel did not expect is for his cousin to take a liking on Raida.
