NOTE: This run was performed on 2/09/2023. At the time it would've been the WR (according to Speedrun.com at least) but it's since been beaten. Unfortunately it was recorded before I knew how NVRAM messed with the playback. The INP file will work, but it requires some extra steps to prevent it from desyncing.

(Some of these steps may be unnecessary, but I've tested that it'll work perfectly after doing this.)

1. Add the included "nvram" and "inp" folders to the main MAME directory.

2. Open Command Prompt, change to the MAME directory, and play the INP file with this command:
mame shocktro -nonvram_save -playback shocktro_jungle_nodamage_15m35s.inp

3. When the replay starts, press "F3" to exit playback, then press "F2" to go into the Neo Geo BIOS menu.

4. Select "SETTING UP THE SOFT DIP", then "SLOT1 SHOCK TROOPERS".

5. Change the settings to this:
CONTINUE ON
DEMO SOUND ON
HOW TO PLAY ON
DIFFICULTY LEVEL 4
HERO 3
CREDIT/LEVEL ON/OFF
VIOLENCE ON
LANGUAGE JAPANESE

6. Go back to the main Neo Geo BIOS menu and select "EXIT".

7. Open the MAME menu and select "BIOS Selection". Change the driver to "Japan MVS (Ver. 3)" and select "Reset". The INP file should start playing normally now.
