You know we've been at this blogging thing when we start to re-review products. Case in point, way back in August of 2010, we posted a review of four different Lindemans Lambic beers, i.e. Pomme, Peche, Kriek, and Framboise. Here's a link to that original review:

Interestingly enough, on today's video, we'll be discussing the exact same flavors. Here's what Merchant du Vin (their US importer) has to say about Lindemans Lambic beers:

Pomme (Apple)
Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and herbs were used to season beers. The clean, bright aroma and flavor of apples melds beautifully with the complex tartness of lambic. Lindemans Pomme was introduced in 2006, and renamed to Apple in 2018.

Serving Suggestion: Perfect with rich cream sauces, hearty soups, aromatic cheeses and spicy cuisine – supremely refreshing. Serve at 38-41 °F in flute-shaped Lambic glass.

Peche (Peach)
Suggested to Lindemans Brewery by Merchant du Vin in the early 1980s, the sweet rich flavor of ripe peaches is a perfect foil to the complex demanding flavor of lambic.

Serving Suggestion: Peach Melba, peaches in brandy, pear tarts, salad Nicoise, sorbet, egg rolls, peach cobbler, Waldorf salad, haroses, free-run chicken crepes, Belgian waffles. Serve at 45 °F in flute-shaped Lambic glass.

Kriek (Cherry)
Peter Breugel pictured happy peasants dancing and drinking Kriek – lambic with cherries – in the 17th century. Lindemans has brewed Kriek since 1822; it was the first Lindemans fruit lambic imported into the US, around 1980.

Serving Suggestion: As an aperitif in place of dry sherry, with carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine or Gueuze, flavorful cheeses. Serve in flute-shaped Lambic glass.

Framboise (Raspberry)
Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean taste, with inviting raspberry supported by lambic complexity. Deep reddish-purple color with pink head.

Serving Suggestion: Chocolate desserts (especially chocolate decadence), fresh raspberries, ice cream with a raspberry demi-glaze sauce, créme caramel, baked Alaska, Olympia oysters, caviar. Serve at 45 °F in flute-shaped Lambic glass.
