One of the things we love most about the “travel” is the fact that it is possible to choose the destination day by day following the destiny, the people met along the way, the proposals, the events.

In this case, after a wonderful week spent in Agadir, an unexpected meeting on Couch-surfing brought us to Taroudant, an ancient Moroccan city that is located in the province of the same name just 70 kilometers from Agadir.

This city is certainly little known due to the lack of tourism, but it is older than some famous cities such as Marrakesh and Agadir, for example. In this area of ​​Morocco, time seems to have stopped: the population lives simply trying to enhance the historical and natural wealth of this place.

Our friend, Salman, was a perfect guide in a really hot and crowded day. With him we crossed the Medina of Taroudant first on foot and then aboard a "4X4 Berber" (watch the video to understand what we are talking about).

We also had time to visit a charitable association that deals with women and children who are homeless and without food. We can say that this experience was really very constructive and an incredible enrichment.
