Air Cooled Thermaltake Core P6?! | ASUS x NOCTUA RTX 3080 PC Build | EPIC Gaming / Editing Setup!

Having spent time with the ASUS x NOCTUA RTX 3070 previously, I was stoked to hear that the guys wanted to send over the new 3080 to check out! I knew I had to get this card vertically mounted WITH an air cooler, but she's a C H O N K and this seemed virtually impossible in most cases on the market here!
...HELLO Core P6.

Now, I'll go ahead and say right now... There's one hour's worth of footage which I didn't film. Whilst the GPU ALMOST fit vertically with the air cooler, it wasn't quite to be. I had to reposition all of the motherboard standoffs 1/2 inch higher on the chassis. This was tedious, required lots of precise measuring and drilling, but worth it! By moving the standoffs higher I was able to get the 3080 positioned underneath the NH-U12A Chromax cooler.... Win!

For this build I really wanted to stylise my own ideal vision of a complete Noctua setup. Needless to say, I'm really pleased with the results and the PC runs absolutely silently as to be expected, even under full load!

The ASUS x Noctua GeForce RTX 3080 is going to be a very limited card here in the UK. If you manage to get your hands on one, make sure you give it enough breathing space inside a large case too!
