During the 2025 SEMA show Fundamental Motorsports presented and opened pre-orders for the world’s first 3D metal printed bypass shocks with integrated cooling fins. This is the teaser video used during the presentation.

The video shows the development vehicle, a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, powering through a series of tests in Johnson Valley, CA.

The JT, as tested in the video has 12.5in of front wheel travel, 17in of rear travel, and a resulting lift of about 4in. A Magnuson supercharged v6 mated to a 6 speed manual transmission and 37in KO2 gives the power and traction needed for both the desert and daily driving.

The 3D metal printed bypass shocks tested are a 3.0 size with 4 compress and 2 rebound zones, currently version 2 of the design. Version 3 (in testing as of this posting) includes a refined cooling fin desing that improves cooling by an additonal 70%, 16 compression zones, and 10 rebound zones specific for the JT platfrom.

Additional platforms are also in testing with version 3, specifically the 3rd Gen Raptor.
