My impressions of a "nostalgia" buy on my part, looking to revisit very old paths not taken in my martial arts career. Made in Dalian, the Kingston Arms Renaissance Side Sword seems pretty impressive for the money. Of course, just my luck that technology disasters delayed my review until this piece was sold out at both Sword Buyers Guide and Kult of Athena. Hopefully it will be restocked.


As my functional knowledge of HEMA is pretty much non-existent, please comment with your thoughts on this model and similar cut-and-thrust swords, as well as any recommendations you may have for good reproduction European weapons.
