How to make a cheap & portable Air Gate for FPV Drone Racing

IMPORTANT: Make sure you buy suitable glue for use with tarpaulin, as some glue will cause bad things to happen. If unsure, test a small amount in a well ventilated area.

The nights are long, the weather is terrible and my flying time has been savaged, so I have had to find other things to work on. This is the first of my my winter projects; a DIY, homemade, cheap, portable and easily reproducible air gate. This is the most basic of designs but works really well. I have had a few ideas for making some flag style corner markers and a raised gate so watch this space.

I already had the tarp kit from a camping related fix so I knew it was easy enough to do. I mention tent pegs in the video but didn't end up having to use them. It would be easy enough to tie on a couple of guide ropes and peg them down for a bit more support and stability if you felt it was required.

It was 2degC when I recorded the final part of this and it had snowed the night before. I was freezing my bollocks off so hope you guys appreciate the effort for the cause :)
