EXPLORING the GULF of CARPENTARIA / MANANGOORA STATION/ Part 8

This week as we continue EXPLORING the GULF of CARPENTARIA we head into MANANGOORA STATION for six nights parked up on the Wearyan River .
With the Caravan parked on the bank and the Tinny moored out the front we think this might just be our FAVORITE camp site yet , you need to be fully self contained for this one and probably love fishing . Manangoora Station is approximately 100 km east of Borroloola on the Savannah Way , the station is locally owned and run and cost $30 a night per vehicle.
We hit the water and head to some of the most remote creeks we have ever been to. With plenty of Barramundi and Crabs galore we are certainly in our happy place .
We get stalked by a big Saltwater Crocodile and cook up some Crab on the fire.
