EST Glue Guy Jay Milne and Lt. Eric are back for another episode of The Nielson Show!

Today's guests:

Darren Dreger - TSN

Ryan Rishaug - TSN

Last night, the Edmonton Oilers lost game three against the Vancouver Canucks in a hard-fought battle.

Brocker Boeser scored two goals and had three points in the game. Elias Lindholm also had two goals. Quinn Hughes had two assists while Arturs Silovs had a .933 SV%.

Evan Bouchard, Leon Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm had one point and one assist. Stuart Skinner was pulled for Calvin Pickard to start the second period and the Edmonton Oilers were just short of hitting the mark with two posts clanked during play.

The boys open the show by recapping the night and what to look out for as an Oilers fan.

We got the 'Morning Announcements' presented by 100.3 The BEAR!

Jay Milne and Lt. Eric get into 'The Morning After Show' for E.M. Utility locating where they look at the big moment of the game, the fourth star and the 38th star of the game. Of course, they have to pick their 'Steady Eddie of the Evening.'

We then get into 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' from the weekend! Our Birdie Booze launch was the good, the start of the game was the bad and the ugly was the Detroit Pistons falling from first to fifth overall TWO YEARS IN A ROW!

Darren Dreger joins us during the second hour as today's 'Pro Am Sports Big Guest of the Day.' He looks back on the Oilers' 4-3 loss against the Canucks and what it means for game 4 on the horizon. He breaks down some goaltending and what are the big part of the series in games to come. He shares his thoughts on what's going on in Toronto and what the Leafs management expects for next year and how they're approaching the offseason. He circles back to the Edmonton Oilers series by highlighting some of the issues in goaltending.

Dreger also gives his opinion on the Carson Soucy crosscheck to the face and what may come from it.

After that, he takes a look around the NHL and some of the other series going on. He thinks the Panthers and the Rangers are way too much for the Bruins and Hurricanes where they'll move onto the next round to set up a heavy Eastern Conference Final.

He moves back over to the Western Conference where he breaks down the Avalanche and Stars series.

After Dreger leaves, Lt. Eric, Jay Milne and Zachticum continue their conversation on the game and the series as a whole. Who starts? What needs to happen overall? Who needs to step up? How can the Oilers get back into the series?

Milne then lays down 'The Coolbet Hotline of the Day' going to the NBA and checking out the Boston Celtics. He takes them on the spread at 8.5 and he picked under in the match. That bet is +250!

They come back to read some texts from 'The Paris Jewellers Inbox' where each day one fan wins the 'Text of the Day' for a $20 A&W gift card!

Of course, we got 'MMMMMM That's Good' for the Italian Centre Shop! The boys got BIG NEWS with the Edmonton Stingers and their games coming to Edmonton Sports Talk!

To start the third hour, we got 'Kind of Easy Trivia' with Big Uke winning a $25 GC to Mr. Mikes!

We then giveaway an entry into a draw for VIP tickets to Andrew Schulz and Shane Gillis at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival!

The boys got 'Three Questions Too Many' for Park Madza!

Ryan Rishaug stops by for the 'Got Yer Back Monday Morning Mandate!' He joins the show to talk about last night's Oilers game where he breaks down the goaltending stating that all of the goals that went past Stuart Skinner were not his fault. Shauger looks at Arturs Silovs and how he's outplaying Skinner and making the saves that he's had to. Risahug thinks that Calvin Pickard should get the start in goal for game 4 to show a different look. He then sheds some light on Nikita Zadorov and Carson Soucy's physical play in game 3. Shauger had some heated thoughts about the overall physicality of the Oilers and how the team has to take responsibility to try and win this series. He gives his thoughts on the bottom six and who he would play in the lineup. Shauger would like to see Sam Gagner and Sam Carrick inserted into the lineup but he doesn't think that will happen given that they're too slow. He also talks about Adam Henrique and how he's been playing injured and that it's impacted the team heavily.

After Risahug leaves, we have 'The Wrap' for William Huff to summarize the show! We give away a $20 A&W gift card for 'The Text of the Day' for the best text from 'The Paris Jeweller Inbox.'
