The Duchess of Cambridge opens new children's play area at Hampton Court Palace

(4 May 2016) DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE PLAYS IN THE MAGIC GARDEN
The Duchess of Cambridge opened a new children's play area at Hampton Court's Magic Garden on Wednesday (4 MAY 2016).
Mother-of-two Catherine chatted to numerous youngsters on her visit to the Surrey landmark, which was converted into a grand palace under the watchful eye of Cardinal Thomas Wolsey in 1515.
The interactive play garden, which was designed by Robert Myers, was inspired by the myths of legends of the Tudor court. It includes a model of a large red dragon, numerous battlements and towers, plus a secret grotto.
During her time touring the attraction, the Duchess met numerous children and revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a hamster and that Catherine herself had two guinea pigs named Salt and Pepper when she was growing up.
