0:10 Sperm DNA Fragmentation होता क्या है?
Sperm के अंदर होता है Nucleus और Nucleus के अंदर होता है DNA।अगर DNA में किसी भी प्रकार का damage हो जाता है तो DNA fragmentation की value बढ़ जाती है। अगर DFI less than 15% है तो वह Normal है और DFI greater than 15% है तो definitely Abnormal है। इस abnormality के दो causes है: Testicular and Post-testicular।

30% लोगों में DFI high होता है। इसका कोई cause नहीं होता। इसे testicular cause कहते है। Viral Infection, Excessive Obesity, Smoking and Alcoholism, Auto-immune factors और Age यह काफी common causes है। सबसे uncommon cause Hormonal Abnormality है जो Hormonal Imbalance की वजह से होती है।

अगर आपका Sperm DNA Fragmentation HIGH आता है तो सबसे पहले Male Infertility Doctor से Consult कीजिये। वह आपका testicular examination करेंगे। उस दौरान आपको Clinical Information मिलती है। उसके बाद Blood tests करते है। फिर DNA fragmentation tests भी करने पड़ते है।
