Dak Prescott on Jalen Tolbert: “Every year, the guy who I feel like I spend the most time with in the offseason goes and has a huge year. So, I don’t want to put that pressure on him, but we spent a lot of time together. Last year it was CeeDee; I’m not going to say he’s gonna have a CeeDee-type year as he did last year … It’s usually been a young guy that anytime I send that text message out, they’re there. Doesn’t matter what time, what day. That was Tolbert this offseason. I'll tell him, I'm sure if he watches this and I'll tell him to his face, he hasn't done anything yet. Another guy that I'm not going to put a ceiling on what his potential can be. 'Cause as long as he continues to approach the game the way he has, with the intensity, with the focus and with the expectation to be a No. 1 guy, no telling how great he can be.”

Jerry Jones has had praise for both Hunter Luepke and DeMarvion Overshown, which probably has more to do with his conversations with McCarthy and Will McClay than what he’s seeing. Here’s what he said on Luepke: “Really like the work that our fullback [Hunter Luepke] is doing. He’s very instrumental, and of course he’s going to be a big part of this offense and he’s earning it. Mike loves his versatility, we all do.”
