In this video I reveal a full mastering chain, going into a deep dive covering each and every plugin / effect as well as the best plugins for mastering. I discuss why I placed the plugins in this order in the chain, why I use these specific effects, and all the detailed mastering settings. We cover clipping in Gold Clip, soft clipping vs hard clipping, EQ & dynamic EQ, de-essing, mid-side effects, how to find sibilance, intermodulation issues, how to saturate a master right, mastering compression settings, a comparison of 2 limiters, and how to set up a limiter for your final master. Then I show how to send the master to the client using a simple service called Samply.
