St Kilda (a short film)

Описание к видео St Kilda (a short film)

I had a pretty amazing opportunity this summer to visit the very special island of Hirta on the St Kilda archipelago off the coast of the Scottish Hebrides. Home to thousands of sea birds, hundreds of now wild sheep and once inhabited by a truly hardy folk.

This wee film features Soay Sheep, Fulmar, Gannets, Puffins, Basking Shark, Great Skua (Bonxies), Arctic Skua, Eider, Shag, Oystercatcher and St Kilda's resident Snowy Owl, Snedge. (more or less in that order)

St Kilda is a dual UNESCO World Heritage Site owned and looked after by the National Trust for Scotland. It can be visited by boat throughout the summer season, find out more here: https://www.nts.org.uk/visit/places/s...
