Building a customized eGPU : using a VEGA 64 + Akitio Node Pro. Part I

In this video the Akitio Node Pro is used to build a high end eGPU

Since I wanted the eGPU to be fully supported by macOS Mojave, I decided to go with the AMD VEGA 64.

The beauty of custom built eGPUs allows you to upgrade the GPU when ever a better option is available or depending on your usage : Windows vs macOS etc.

In the next video I'll be replacing the included SFX PSU with the best option available on the market today, which is the Corsair SFX750.

Part II is on it's way in my editing timeline, first results with the SFX750 are what I certainly expected when I bought this PSU
