With some of the worlds’ highest inhabited villages, Spiti leaves you with picture-postcard memories of barren desert and precariously perched monasteries set against a backdrop of clear blue skies. Referred to as the 'Middle Land', Spiti represents its location between India and Tibet, showcasing a special fusion of cultures and customs.

LANGZA
The drive from Kaza takes you through barren mountains set against bright blue skies with patches of lovely green farmland in summer. Renowned for its unbeatable location, Langza offers some of Spiti’s finest views with unclaimed fossils lying around its outskirts. The highest peak of Himachal is visible from Langza village in Spiti Valley .Spectacular views of the ChauChau Kang Nilda peak at 4400 meters above mean sea level along with the gigantic Buddha statue lording over the village, make Langza the destination of choice.

KOMIC
Having its fame as the Highest village in the world connected with a motorable road, Komic is quite a destination for most people traveling to Spiti. The village is home to about a dozen houses, one monastery and has a population of around 150, which includes the monks. Unspoiled scenery, lush surroundings, snow-covered peaks, and barren landscapes bless this place.

CHAM MASK DANCE FESTIVAL
Spiti is a mystical land with a lot of unique things one of which is their folk dance named “The Cham Dance” which is a vibrant masked and costumed ritual with its roots strongly connected to Buddhism. It symbolizes the victory of the good over the evil. The Cham Dance is more than just a ritual or a folk dance performed by Lamas or monks because it offers an insight into this distinct culture
