GO-AROUND in Amsterdam | Strong Wind | KLM Embraer 190 | Beautiful View of Amsterdam with Canals

Описание к видео GO-AROUND in Amsterdam | Strong Wind | KLM Embraer 190 | Beautiful View of Amsterdam with Canals

KLM Cityhoper flight from Stuttgart (EDDS) to Amsterdam (EHAM) with Embraer E190. The reason for the go-around (5:00) is in the captain's announcement (7:19). Thanks to the go-around, we had a beautiful evening view of Amsterdam with plenty of canals (6:56). At the end of the video, the route of the last flight stage is displayed on the map (19:12). I was the only one on the whole plane who was excited about the go-around. Thanks to the KLM crew for their professional attitude and patience with impatient passengers.

Go-arounds occur at an average rate of 1–3 per 1000 approaches. During the go-around in the video, a significant amount of engine thrust (both engines are running) can be observed when climbing steeply (5:18). The aircraft also has to handle a missed approach procedure with one engine inoperative, which is one of the most critical flight cases (low speed, high angle of attack, landing configuration, asymmetric case). According to aviation regulation JAR 25.121(d), Climb: One Engine Inoperative - Discontinued Approach, the steady climb gradient may not be less than 2,1% (1.2°) for two-engined airplanes with the critical engine inoperative, the remaining engine at the available take-off thrust, the maximum landing weight, and landing gear retracted.

At 6:08 you can see the memorial to the victims of flight MH17 near the wingtip. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysi...)
