What makes Sonic games better than Mario? The gameplay, the characters, the story, music, the world? NOPE! That would be the openings to each game. A short cinematic that plays at the beginning of every adventure and includes a rocking song with it. But not every opening is created equal. So, I decided to rank all of the Sonic openings from every game that has one. From the beautifully 2d animated Sonic cd opening to the Sonic Unleashed opening cinematic. I find out what works and what really doesn't work. \
