DIY: Resurfacing brake rotors Toyota Sequoia

Описание к видео DIY: Resurfacing brake rotors Toyota Sequoia

My steering wheel started shaking when breakeg on high speeds on my 60k Toyota Sequoia with relatively new brake pads on all wheels so I decided to turn the rotors myself. The video shows how I did it. The bolts I used for mounting the rotors are metric 12mm x 1.5 fine thread to match the thread of the lug nuts. I used power drill with 4" rubber backing pad with 4" Twist-Lock Abrasive Discs. Started with 40 grit and finished with 100 grit. After the procedure I have not experienced any steering wheel shaking or brake pedal pulsing whatsoever.

Important: When you remove the disk make sure to put some spacer in the caliper! This is needed because in order to switch from Park to Drive or Reverse, you have to depress the brake pedal and that may push a cylinder out.
