Caregiver compliance is essential so EVV Systems wrote its application toward the caregiver’s ease of use: Check-in, Check-out and Done™. Each step takes seconds, is much more efficient than telephony systems and many times more accurate than GPS-based verification systems. While the caregiver is simply complying with our application prompts, EVV Systems is tracking, within one-foot accuracy, the caregiver’s location. We know the caregiver arrived in the home at a precise time at check-in, remained in the home for their shift, and checked out at a precise time from the home. Our approach leverages a Fixed Verification Device in the home to triangulate multiple signals and track caregivers. At Check-out the caregiver completes the check list of services provided to the consumer and a summary is transmitted to our servers. If the caregiver’s cell phone is not in tower range, the data will be transmitted when the phone connects to the next cell tower. If the caregiver is offline, our App may direct them to use our integrated telephony service. We can find caregivers who do not enter the home and caregivers that leave their shifts early.
