Home Birth Didn't Go As Planned | Emergency!

We had always planned to have a natural home birth for our 6th child, just like our previous three births, but as fate would have it, things didn't quite go according to plan. After a few hours of trying to deliver at home, we soon realized that something wasn't right and made the decision to go to the hospital. My wife was diagnosed with shoulder dystocia, which is a condition in which the baby is stuck in the mother's pubic bone.

This was the most intense delivery Safiyyah had experienced. Thankfully, the hospital staff was amazing, and they were able to help my wife deliver our baby safely. Our home birth didn't go as planned, but our beautiful baby is here safe and sound. In the end, everything turned out ok - but it was definitely a Birth Story that we'll never forget!
