Among the speakers were Muhammad Akram, Deputy Director, of Cyber Crime Wing, FIA, Fahad Durrani, Assistant Director, and Faqir Hassan, in charge of forensics.
The speakers provided information on how to make computers, laptops, and cell phones more secure, how to prevent mishaps, and digital forensics.
The Chief Guest of the event Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb Dean KMC in his speech emphasized that this is the digital age. Many of us know about the use of social media but do not realize its disadvantages. He thanked the FIA’s cybercrime team for providing us the basic information regarding cyber crimes.

Director CCRC - FIA , Provide valuable insights on cybercrime and enlightened on this new phenomenon in order to educate the audience for their personal data security while using computer, laptops, mobile phones, online banking, ATM machine, social media etc.
Furthermore they put some light on hacking, motives of cybercrime, cyber stalking, electronic forgery, child pornography, dark web, hate speech, fake SIMS registrations, website and organizational infrastructure hacking etc.
Moreover they shared the complaints number was increasingly year by year. In 2018 | 16,000 Plus, 2019 | 48,000 Plus, 2020 | 94,000 Plus, 2021 | 100,000 Plus complaints were registered on cybercrime wing.
Conclusion of the event was legal compliance is the foremost assessment in any business, technical, operation or strategic decision making. In this seminar they tried to bridge the gap between legal and technical domain.
