Pavia the Old City , 4k Walking Tour

Today, I'm sharing with you in this video, my 4K walk in the beautiful and historic old city of Pavia, in Lombardia, north Italy on Saturday June 17 2023.
Pavia is 35km south of Milano and part of the Ticino Valley Natural Park which preserves two forests.
In this video I started my walk from Ponte Vecchio which is on the banks of the Ticino River, passing through the famous Ponte Coperto Bridge to reach the main shopping street of Via Strada Nouva walking among it’s shops and alleys reaching the famous, centuries old University of Pavia which is one of the oldest universities of the world. After a small tour at the University I headed to Piazza Della Vittoria where you can find all the restaurants, gelato shops and local magazines that sell souvenirs.
Tourists, locals, and university students are always keeping it fully booked, enjoying their day with friends and families. After that i passed by Piazza Duomo where the weekly Saturday Mercato was taking place.
I ended my tour at walking through Piazza Cavagneria passing through the alleys of Via Cardano where you can find small vintage shops and Old Churches reaching Porta Pertusi.
