REview: The Killer (2022) | A Murderously Good Time

Jae-Hoon Choi's 'The Killer' has all the advantages of better done Hollywood action thrillers, with little of the cultural baggage.

One of the genuine surprises of the movie is how interesting Jang Hyuk is as an action star – from certain angles he's a dead ringer for Steven Yeun – and why he isn't as well-known on this side of the pond.

It's also a very violent movie, though speaking of violence I do more than my fair share to the Korean language, which I apologize for in advance.
