1.US hits targets across Yemen as Israel seeks global coalition to confront Houthis
The US military said Tuesday its forces had hit Houthi targets in Yemen’s capital that the Iran-backed rebels used to attack American warships and commercial vessels.

The attacks began Monday and were carried out by US Navy ships and aircraft that also struck Houthi-controlled coastal regions of Yemen, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.
It also said US Navy and Air Force aircraft had destroyed “seven cruise missiles and one-way attack UAVs over the Red Sea,” using an acronym for unmanned aerial drones

3.IDF: Troops discover large cache of Hezbollah weapons in south Lebanon
With a month to go until Israeli forces are slated to fully pull out of southern Lebanon, IDF troops with the 769th “Hiram” Regional Brigade located and destroyed a large cache of Hezbollah weapons in the Wadi Saluki area, the military said Tuesday.

The IDF said the forces found rocket launchers, missiles, explosives and other weapons at the depot hidden in the Wadi Saluki area, just across the border from the Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona

4.Syria’s new authorities announced on Tuesday that the military chief of the Islamist group that spearheaded the offensive that toppled longtime ruler Bashar al-Assad had been appointed defense minister in the transitional government.
