Line 6 Helix HX Stomp Brit Trem Brt - DIY 50W Plexi Lunchbox Amp Comparison

I dialed in my Plexi-ish '68 Lead Spec lunchbox amp set to my usual settings, and tried to get close with the Line 6 HX Stomp Brit Trem Brt model.

I first recorded a DI through the HX Stomp. I then reamped to the amp and to the Brit Trem Brt model via USB. The amp was loaded down with a Suhr Reactive Load, and inserted into a send/return loop of the HX Stomp.

An Ownhammer Greenback impulse response was applied in the DAW after recording (MRBW MED D545V-02).

I used an Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro (stock bridge pickup) and a SX Hawk MN Mahogany P90 (Wolfetone Meaner 90 bridge pickup).

Settings are as shown on the amp photo and in HX Edit. My amp build turned out to be bass heavy, so I had to turn up the bass on the Helix Brit Trem model.
