"THE MANY FACES OF VISTA DEL MAR"
Original Mural Project By BUFF MONSTER
Featuring The Students Of Vista Del Mar
Curated By Branded Arts
This was a very special mural project featuring Buff Monster, Branded Arts, and the students of Vista Del Mar. Everyone participated in the creation of this 100' mural promoting creativity, community, and art education. The students also contributed by drawing faces that Buff incorporated into the piece. On March 29th, Vista Del Mar hosted a community paint day where volunteers led arts and crafts activities and everyone helped to paint the mural. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved!
Special thanks goes out to our amazing sponsors and to the awesome folks at Vista Del Mar.

ABOUT BUFF MONSTER
Buff Monster made a name for himself by putting up thousands of hand-silkscreened posters across Los Angeles, and other far-away places. His work is characterized by happy characters living in brightly-colored bubbly landscapes. Along with meticulously executed paintings, he has created a wide range of merchandise ranging from prints and stickers, to vinyl toys and plush. In 2012 he created an ambitious homage to Garbage Pail Kids called The Melty Misfits; a collection of vintage-style trading cards, complete with wax wrapper. The color pink, a symbol of confidence, individuality and happiness, is present in everything he creates.
ABOUT BRANDED ARTS
Branded Arts curates art exhibition openings by featuring some of the most prolific artists of our time alongside never before seen work from some of LA's rising stars. Branded Arts stages art-driven events that fuse visual art with music, fashion and entertainment, creating a platform that showcases emerging talent from around the world. Branded Arts' eclectic lineup of performers have included Nick Cannon, Macy Gray, Samantha Ronson and Biz Markie, to name a few. Branded Arts is a proud supporter of several charities including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Witness To A Dream Foundation, and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services.
Over the last 4 years, Branded Arts has produced and curated several large-scale art exhibitions along with over 70 public mural projects around Los Angeles. Located at 8810 Washington Blvd. in Culver City, the Branded Arts Building is the organization's most renowned project, which has received extensive media coverage including a feature in the LA Times. Branded Arts recently completed a group of mural projects was at THE RESERVE LA -- a 20 acre creative campus in Playa Vista, home to the new offices of Microsoft, Sony PlayStation, and TMZ.
The company's aim is to further involve renowned artists to paint murals at local properties, developments, youth centers, recreation centers, and schools. The goal is to send an inspirational message with these art projects, give people a creative outlet, and to always display positive imagery. Due to public school budget cutbacks significantly impacting art programs around the country, Branded Arts feels it is up to independent organizations to help facilitate and introduce art to young people.
