Insult Casimir Bassi to make him fight Geralt. Being soft or sympathy to him will just make him commit suicide. Being harsh to him will piss him off and challenges Geralt to a 1 on 1 battle.

Open Sesame: Safecracker quest for the Hearts and Stone DLC. In this quest, you will have a choice to recruit Quinto or Casimir.
