My OO gauge layout the Edge Hey and Strines Railway (model railway) was built for and with my grandchildren and also during lockdown. Due to knee problems I was finding it difficult to get up to the attic, so my family helped me move my workshop down a floor and I started a narrow gauge oo9 project The Harland Light Railway.

I made the sad and difficult decision to take down The EH&SR and RAILWAY MODELLER MAGAZINE asked me to write an article about the options available to me for what I wanted to do with the layout (the August 2023 edition). This short video accompanies the article.
