Kristin Chenoweth & John Sargeant perform “Popular” (from “Wicked”) @ SLC Encircle House!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, ummmmmm...there was this one time (2 days ago) when the irresistible, bubbly Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth (who originally played Glinda in the Broadway hit musical "Wicked") made a special visit to the weekly music night at the Encircle House (an LGBTQ family & youth resource center in Salt Lake City). ♪♪ And I spontaneously got to accompany her on "Popular" (her signature solo from "Wicked") & also sing/play other songs w/ her & the crowd that night! :D

So here's a video of Kristin absolutely ROCKIN' "Popular!" ^_^ I've been a HUGE fan of the original Broadway cast recording of "Wicked" since junior high, so this was an insanely fun opportunity! I LOOOOOVE that she stopped in the middle of the song to take a selfie w/ Keeley Milner (who was celebrating her 12th birthday)! :P

And right before we started the song, my friend, Zachary Scharman (who runs the weekly music nights at Encircle), told Kristin that this was actually the 2nd time I've collaborated w/ her, & then I explained to her that I was the synthesizer player in the orchestra (for 4 of her songs) at the 2017 BYU Homecoming Spectacular where she performed her little heart out! ♥ (I didn't officially meet her during those rehearsals/shows).

Thanks to all my friends that made that night w/ Kristin so very special: Ron Gunnell (Kristin's host during her Utah visit), the other instrumentalists (Maxwell Eddington, Ella Moss, Gabriel Gutierrez, & Zachary Scharman), Tyler Domgaard (the Encircle program manager), Mason Moore, Zach Grigg, Griffin Hendrickson, Justin Kwong, Colette Dalton, Kallie Pead, etc. :)
