Absolutely awesome scenery along the cliff road from Simonstown south along the Cape peninisula, then up and over the other side to the open Atlantic and the cliff road past Misty Cliffs, a sort of bohemian village clasping on to the edge of the mountain, usually shrouded in thick sea mist, hence it's name. Home to surfers, kayakers, canoeists and divers, it seems a million miles away from civilisation, although only about 20 minutes drive from Cape Town.
The road runs only metres away from the waves crashing on the rocks.
A really amazing drive!
