Muck Diving the Murky Waters of Kawaihae, Hawaii for Macro Critters

Описание к видео Muck Diving the Murky Waters of Kawaihae, Hawaii for Macro Critters

In my perpetual quest for finding unusual, exotic or new critters, I decided to jump into the murkiest and muckiest area of Kawaihae I could find. And it paid off! The Bermudella pellucida sea slug (nudibranch) species we found was another new sighting for Big Island and the Phyllodesmium poindimiei species was new to us. This site definitely had a strong creepy and eerie feel to it, but there was beauty to find.

A big thank you to nudi-expert extraordinaire Cory Pittman for his continued assistance with my nudibranch species identification and verification.
