Last weekend RABP went on our Girly Weekend with our lovely mate Nora. Nora, is and always will be the 4 to our 3.

We have always said that RABP was never going to be just about us.

Just over 6 years ago, our girl had a stroke whilst sitting at her desk in our office. Life has changed immeasurably for her and two years ago, she suffered another set back when she discovered she had Breast Cancer.

This video is for those who have gone through a stroke or perhaps are a loved one/friend. When your life changes like this it can be an incredibly lonely place to be and so we would urge you to contact support groups in your local area. A good place to start is the Stroke Association. On the website they have a link to find your local group and offer both a support service and clubs/groups based locally. Obviously they can’t be everywhere but it’s worth checking. It can offer, help, activities and companionship...and who doesn’t need friends? The most important thing is, where possible, not to isolate yourself. We are sure loved ones would be willing to help you in any way possible. If your loved one has been affected by a stroke, they can be a great source of advice for you too. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our little get-together 💜 It’s important to note that a stroke can affect a person at any age (Nora was a very fit, non-smoker on her early 40’s).
She was the only person we ever knew who didn’t use her exercise bike as a clothes horse!
