On day two of my 4 day float trip on the South Fork of the Snake River, I only fished with my Orvis Recon 10' 3 weight Euro Nymphing rod, and my Sage SPL 282-3 rod for casting dry's. The Orvis rod is paired with an Orvis Hydros #2 reel and a Rio, Euro Nymphing line, and the 8' 2", 2 weight Sage SPL is paired with a Sage 3100 click and pawl reel with a Rio, 2 weight line. I absolutely LOVE my 2 weight Sage rod and reel combo! It's super light weight and fly casting this rod is a dream, even in the wind. Definitely one of my all time favorite rods and I've landed both rainbow trout and brown trout over 20" on it as well.

It was a blast being on such an amazing river and feeling like I had the whole place to myself. I hope you enjoy the video of my 2nd day on the water from this trip!
