Below is a free guide you are welcome to use but bear in mind it is a rough guide to koi length and weight to help you design the koi filter with the right amount of media in it!

Koi Length and approximate Weight feeding 3%

But it does show that as the koi get bigger over 40cm every 10cm in length they are doubling there food intake!

15cm = 60 grams so if you had 10 koi @15cm koi total 600 X 3% = 18 grams per day

20cm = 125 grams so if you had 10 koi @20cm koi total 1250 X 3% = 37.5 grams per day

30cm = 350 grams so if you had 10 koi @30cm koi total 3500 X 3% = 105 grams per day

40cm =1000 grams so if you had 10 koi @40cm koi total 10000 X 3% = 300 grams per day

50cm = 2000 grams so if you had 10 koi @50cm koi total 20000 X 3% = 600 grams per day

60cm = 4000 grams so if you had 10 koi @60cm koi total 40000 X 3% = 1200grams per day
