How Hoyte van Hoytema shot NOPE

NOPE is one of my favourite films of the year, and possibly my favourite film from Jordan Peele, although I haven’t seen Get Out in a while. The expansive use of IMAX, technical aspect of shooting Day for Night and distinct look that is becoming recognizable for Jordan Peele's work, all lie on the shoulders of one man, Hoyte van Hoytema, and of course, his team.

So in today’s video, I’ll be covering the equipment Hoytema used, how he created a new technique to shoot Day for Night, and how Jordan Peele’s look has developed from Get Out to US to NOPE.
