*can also use active dry yeast just follow directions for proofing
1 teaspoon organic sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (240ml) water

2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
*optional 2 to 3 sprigs fresh parsley, chopped
