How To
These are made with clear MP soap base and food coloring.
You can use mica, but you can also use food coloring for baking!
When you use mica, use oil or glycerin to disperse.

MP Soap making is for both kids and beginners who never had the soap making experiences.
You just need to melt and pour, literally. Some people who don't want any lye near them also love these melt and pour method.

Usually, in most cases,
Clear , Ultra Clear , Crystal Clear

The transparency goes that way. Crystal clear is very, super clear of all. if you ask, is it a good soap? Then, well. It depends on the ingredients.
You can make your own soap base at home, with HP method but if not, you probably want to check the ingredient list.
Some soap bases are not soap at all. Sometimes, unlike CP soap, you can make it with fatty acids, or with soap noodles, like most companies. Or sometimes the soap base has synthetic ingredients (even some are from natural sources) that makes more lather, cleansing. I tell you, some are not even a soap.

Cut in small cubic sizes, so you don't have to heat it up too hot.
You can either use double boiler or microwave to melt the soap base.
Please avoid direct heating, because the melt and soap base can be very sticky if the temperature goes up too high. And it may change the color of soap base to yellowy.

And please take out food coloring.
It is so much useful with food coloring. Especially with kids, food coloring, edible. And melt and pour soap is already soap. So just watch out for hot temperature, then you are good.

I will pour half colored soap and half transparent soap.
Clear soap and red colored clear soap with food coloring.

And it goes again with yellow, green, blue, so on.
These base soaps are done with saponification, drying and curing. So you can use normal bowls, if you don't have any mold to pour.
You can absolutely use paper cups, small bowl, sauce bowls.

Make two colors pour at the same time, that's pretty good too!

And right away, you can even pour one more color to make three, four colored soaps.

And spray some isopropyl alcohol on the top to get rids of air bubbles.
You may use witch hazel or rubbing alcohol 70%, it will add some water and that's it.

I had some left over soaps, so continue to pour and pour...
If 2 lb is too many for you, you can cut them in a half and use only 1 lb, 0.45 kg.
You can make as many soaps as possible and give that away like presents as well!

The good thing about soap base is that you can start using them after pouring.
So make them in the morning, and use it in the afternoon. You can start use the soap after it's been dried, harden.

And after an hour or two, you can get the soaps out of the molds.
