Now, having a documented frame off restoration, the Commando is painted is a bright yellow and offers a fuel injected engine backed by a 5-spd manual transmission. It simply doesn't get much better. Under the hood is a Chevrolet high performance, tuned port, 350 CID V8 engine. Backing the reliable, easy firing engine, is a New Venture 4500 transmission (manual 5-spd). The clutch is nice and tight and due to the upgraded drivetrain, driving this Jeep is a breeze. Options include: Dana 300 transfer case, Dana 44 w/ Detroit Locker 3.73:1 rear gears, Dana 30 front axle, full sized spare, Ramsey 8000 wench w/ remote, custom roll cage, AM/FM radio, CD player, bikini top, front seat belts, cloth bucket seats, radial off-road performance tires(33x12.5x15), and aluminum/alloy wheels.
