How to repair Gibson G60 Transistor solid state Guitar amp shorted power supply

First one in the shop! I would have rejected this repair, except for the fact it came from a fellow workmate. He purchased this amp at 16 years old. It failed shortly afterwards and has sat for decades unused. I decided that this would be great presentation on YouTube, so here it is! Came to me dead. Fixed that issue, but found that the Tremolo & Reverb needed further repair efforts. Discussed this with the owner, He elected to use the amp without those additions, so I ended the repair. The amp really sounds sweet for a solid stater. I'm sure the giant 15" speaker helps. It was fun dabbling with transistor circuits again. If you have one of these amps, noisy buzzy, install a grounded power cord! Stock, I wonder how anyone ever achieved a clean tone! Yes, it needed more attention, however I was doing my best to keep cost under control. Hope you enjoy!
