LET'S MAKE KULOLO!!!

This is a great recipe for those of you who absolutely LOVE Kulolo!

This is especially for those of us who are transplants from Hawaii who do not have daily access to this local treat, this recipe is for you! I got tired of paying $10 for a tiny piece, so I decided to come up with a recipe of my own!

You will need:
5# grated and processed taro
4 1/2 cups Turbinado Sugar
3 cups Coconut Milk
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Be sure to allow sufficient steam time to dissolve the calcium oxalate crystals, and also be sure to replenish your water supply in your steamer as well!
