PZX Numerical's basics and How to Solve | Nautical Class

Описание к видео PZX Numerical's basics and How to Solve | Nautical Class

Learn and understand about basics term that are required to solve PZX Numerical's. These numerical are very easy once you understand the basics and you are able to draw the correct diagram. One question is solved in the Video for understanding, many question will be solved in the next video.

Terms required to understand
Prime vertical -vertical circle passing through the East and West points of his rational horizon

Vertical circle -great circle on the celestial sphere passing through the observer’s Zenith and Nadir

Observer’s zenith -the point on the celestial sphere, vertically above the observer

Rational horizon -great circle on the celestial sphere, which is 90o away from his zenith

Zenith distance -is the arc of the vertical circle through that body contained between the rational horizon and the centre of the body

Declination -is the arc of a celestial meridian or the angle at the centre of the Earth, between the equinoctial and parallel of declination through that body

Amplitude -is the arc of the observer’s rational horizon or the angle at his zenith between the observer’s prime vertical and the vertical circle through the body

Azimuth -is arc of the observer’s rational horizon or the angle at his zenith between the observer’s celestial Meridian and the vertical circle through that body

True altitude - is the arc of the vertical circle through that body contained between rational horizon and the centre of the body

These Numerical's can be solved mostly using Napier's Formula or Cosine Formula.
Kindly watch the full video to understand how to use these formula.
