Synopsis: The movie revolves around the relationship between a lost son (Vinod Khanna) & his lost mother (Nirupa Roy). The lost son (Khanna) is a gambler cum thief, he is sent to his mother's house, which he left when he was a little child, to pretend to be her lost son. In the process he falls in love with Moushumi Chatterji and realizes the truth. He finally repents & becomes a good man.
