Before the game, the Phillies placed Spencer Turnbull on the 15-day injured list with a strained right lat. He is expected to miss 6-8 weeks. Then late in the game, Kyle Schwarber left with tightness in his left groin, while Bryce Harper hobbled up the first-base line with a left hamstring injury.
