Changing the bearing on my Indesit washing machine

On my Indesit washing machine the bearings made a loud noise. I thought the damm thing will fly away. The problem were the bearings. I took the washing machine apart and to my surprise the drum was plastic, no way to change the bearing :S. I phoned the repair man to ask for a repair. The price to change the plastic drum was 200EUR. This was way too much so I decide to repair it by my self :) I took a hand saw, and sawed the drum at the point where it was glued apart.It took me about 15 minutes to cut the drum around. I changed the bearing (2pcs) and the seals, took some heat resistant adhesive and glued all back again. As a precaution I have drilled some holes around the drum and put approx 20 screws and tightened the drum together after the silicon base adhesive hardened. The silicon based adhesive was about 3mm thick or more. The next step was to put all the parts together and to make a test. To my surprise the drum did not leak and the washing machine is running quietly and with no problem until today. The total cost for the bearing and adhesive : 20EUR.
