Living Books: How to Select School Books That Your Children Will LOVE

Описание к видео Living Books: How to Select School Books That Your Children Will LOVE

In this video I'm talking all about living books: why they're so important, how to recognize one, and where you can find them... PLUS real life examples of living books vs. not-so-living books (I start reading at 3:30) .

Why Living Books??
Living books are the foundation of a Charlotte Mason education, but they should be the foundation of all educational methods. Science is showing that the mind deals best when information is wrapped up in a narrative; i.e. STORIES. History, geography, science, and even math is best learned from stories! And the best source of information wrapped up in a story is LIVING BOOKS. (This is an edited version from one I uploaded earlier)
