Join us on interview #12 of Always the Journey TV with Jodie Turner! We learn in more detail who Jodie is and what she does to help people with their commercial electrical work. Jodie is a great person to know and she does everything she can to help others. She is also very involved in her community! Thank you Jodie for being on the show!

Eagle Electric Inc founded in January 1987 by Kurt Brooks. Built and moved to current building in 1996. In December 2010, Kurt stepped down and the company was taken over by the key employees who own and manage it today. They specialize in commercial electrical for new, remodel and repairs and have worked on a wide variety of projects over the years. They are also very into community service and have supplied Memory Books for a NICU, funded the eagle on the carousel at Hogle Zoo, had members in and supported Rotary clubs for 20+ years,

Jodie Turner has lived in the Salt Lake Valley her entire life. She got married in August 2019 to Steve Batten, who is currently an ACO, and firearms instructor (in previous lives he was Air Force and law enforcement). She has one son from her 1st marriage, Peyton, who is 14 and is a superhero dyslexic, amazing drummer and Kung Fu Green belt.

They live in Taylorsville with their 2 dogs – Izzy a 9 year old Mini American Eskimo and Lucifer an 1-1/2 year old Rottweiler Border Collie mix. When she's not working at Eagle, she helps Steve with his business. She is also a freelance book keeper and a stylist with Color Street. In her spare time, she loves to read.

She love cars – especially old muscle cars and can be found at a few shows in the summer with a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang and a 1960 Ford F100 that has been turned into a hot rod, though they are her Dad’s legally, she considers them hers since she is the one that keeps them going and takes them out on dates.

She also has a Ford Mustang that her and Steve have turned into a First Responder/Military tribute car. It can also be found at shows, in parades, at Concerns of Police Survivor – Utah events, and any other event that Freedom the Ford (her name) has been requested to be at or just driving around town.
